Spooner's Story
In mid February, Spooner, my 8-year old Australian Shepherd was diagnosed with "early lymphosarcoma, submandibular
lymph node”. Her only symptom was a series of enlarged lymph glands on both sides of her neck. Spooner's vet, Scott,
recommended that we begin traditional chemotherapy immediately, but it was an option I was not willing to try.
Luckily a friend faxed me an ad for Poly-mva, and after researching the options, I decided it was the best alternative
available, along with a fresh organic vegetarian diet, lots of walking (Spooner's 2nd favorite activity) and endless
amounts of love (Spooner's favorite activity).
After four weeks of treatment I stopped the Poly-mva and put her back on kibble dog food so we could take a vacation.
By the end of April her lumps were gone. I took her back to Scott a couple of weeks ago for an exam and he gave
her a lump-free diagnosis. Scott was interested in reading the Poly-mva literature.
Spooner is now on a kibble, brown rice and veggie diet (shiitake mushrooms, sea kelp, flax oil and other supplements)
and a maintenance dose of Poly-mva. I am thrilled with our success with Poly-mva and would be happy to talk with
anyone about our experience with Poly-mva and diet. Please email me and we can arrange to talk.

UPDATE: 4-03-02
Hi Tim,
Here is an update to add to Spooner's story. Spooner is great. She started on the Poly in February 2001 and by
the end of April 2001 the lumps were gone. She has been cancer free for a year as far as we can tell. She had an
abscessed anal gland in September and now has a pulled ligament or tendon from slipping on the ice while playing
this winter. It is very hard to slow her down.
We have been trying to get my 87 year old granny to take Poly-MVA. She had chemo and radiation in December/January
for rectal cancer . She seems to be
recovering but is resistant to taking any medication after her chemo/radiation experience. When/if she has a recurrence
she might be more receptive.
I have a box of videos and literature to share with local health care practitioners and have had a couple of local
people ask me about Spooner's treatments. I am happy to continue responding to others e-mails.
Warm regards,
Barbara and Spooner
UPDATE: 5-04-02
Hi and happy spring!
It is a very happy spring because Spooner is still
alive and well! In February of 2001 the vet gave her a
year to live even with traditional chemo treatments.
Now over 14 months later she continues to be healthy
and happy. I treated her lymphosarcoma with Poly-MVA
and an organic diet for the first five weeks. We
finished six months of a maintenance dosage of
Poly-MVA in January. Spooner will be nine years old in
May and we are going to celebrate!
Thanks to all who have taken the time to write. Best
wishes and good health to you and your loved ones!
