Tosca, our beloved Golden Retriever, was diagnosed with spleen cancer at 13 years old. His spleen was removed in
July of 2001 and the splenic hemangio sarcoma had ruptured. The prognosis for Tosca, given to us by an oncologist
at a leading veterinary clinic in our area, was five months with chemotherapy and one to two months without chemotherapy.
We decided against chemotherapy because we were told the chemotherapy was terminal at five to six months due to
heart damage and other medical factors but mostly our decision was based on Tosca's stress and anxiety over any
medical procedures at the clinic. We wanted the last part of his life to be free of veterinary pain and discomfort.
We then contacted a holistic veterinary clinic in New York and were told about PolyMVA. We started Tosca on PolyMVA
immediately. We are so happy to write that he is here with us and we are preparing to celebrate his 14th birthday
in May. This six months has been a gift to all of us and we credit PolyMVA with giving Tosca the strength and health
to enjoy living.
