I am pleased to be able to submit this report to the Poly-MVA
Survivors’ Website -- the successful results of my 8 month bout with metastatic cancer using no chemo or radiation
therapy, only surgery and “alternative” methods. At age 79, I got rid of Stage 4 cancer without damage to my immune system or my organs. IT CAN BE DONE!
March 25, 2002, was my first indication that a neoplasm had spread to the lymph nodes under my left axillary (arm
pit), because I had not been experiencing any symptoms except a recent loss of weight, plus weakness and loss of
energy. The lesion was surgically
removed and presented to several pathology laboratories including the Air Force Lab at Bethesda, MD, where it was
diagnosed as poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma. This
meant that the doctors were unable to tell where this tumorous cancer had originated. The oncologist recommended immediate radiation and sent me to a radiologist who set up a schedule
of radiation treatments for 38 weeks.
Desiring to keep my immune system viable, I refused conventional treatment and searched for an alternative, less
destructive, protocol. A widely-accepted product,
MGN-3 from Japan, was suggested to me by a cancer survivor. It had been shown to increase the activity of macrophages,
B cells, and Natural Killer cells in the immune system. Immediately, I began taking 12 capsules daily (3 grams)
to increase my immune function. Little did I think, at that time, that the worst was about to happen. Two weeks after my surgery the tumor came back, and
within a month it was as big as a golf ball!! I needed some quick answers!
I searched the internet for information regarding
cancer. This required many hours of study and
research on my part, on not only what to avoid, but what was needed to maintain healthy cell production. I found
that treating cancer is not a simple procedure, but a multi-faceted operation. For me, it involved a vigorous change
in life style, such as eating habits and curtailing certain activities. Also, I avoided, as much as possible, such
toxins as smoke, air pollution, impure water, poisonous gases, elements such as chlorine in drinking water and
swimming pools, fluorine in toothpaste, and aluminum found in antiperspirants, cookware, foil and stomach remedies.
I also eliminated foods containing pesticides,
algaecides, etc., cured meats, sugars, white flour, dairy products and many other carcinogenic foods such as grilled
meats and overheated fats and oils.
To encourage my body to make healthy cells, I oxygenated my cells with exercise, maintained a good state of mind
by controlling stress, created a peaceful environment, got enough sleep, and breathed fresh, uncontaminated air.
I also drank at least eight glasses of pure, unchlorinated water per day, ate primarily organic, uncooked vegetables
and salads, used non-fluoride toothpaste, kept my intestines cleansed, and got regular massages. All this, plus
much support from my church, family and friends certainly hastened my recovery.
But somehow I knew I needed to do even more. After an exhaustive search of alternative therapies, I decided on
a protocol that was developed by immunologist Dr. Jesse Stoff of Immune Therapies International. This treatment
was based on the premise that since cancer cells feed on fermented sugar and cannot differentiate between sugar
and ascorbic acid (Vitamin C), that if a cancer patient is given megadoses of Vitamin C intravenously over an extended
period of time, the cancer cells will literally starve to death.
I was admitted to Dr. Stoff’s clinic in Atlanta on May 6, 2002, where I began to receive 75,000 mg of Vitamin C
intravenously every day. After one week, to eliminate the stress of staying in a hotel and fighting city traffic
twice daily, my wife Joyce and I moved to our summer home in the mountains of North Carolina. There, where the air was clean and cool, life was much less stressful,
and we could prepare healing meals, drink unpolluted water and I could sit on our deck overlooking the beautiful
mountains while Joyce administered my daily three-hour intravenous treatments. We began the IV treatments again on June 9, after a three week interval of no IVs at all. As the
cancer cells died, I felt very ill. I think I was experiencing what is called “a healing crises”, as the dead cancer
cells were being processed out of my body through my kidneys and my liver.
By the end of June, the tumor
mass under my arm had reduced to the size of a pea!
A second CAT scan confirmed this. The treatments and all my own lifestyle changes and supplements had been successful!
At that point, I decided to discontinue the IVs because I was beginning to get dehydrated, and I suspected that
they were the cause, so I searched for another treatment modality to take its place.
That’s when I started using Poly-MVA. I
discovered that Poly-MVA had produced positive results for many cancer patients. After two weeks on it at 12 tsp.
per day, I sent my blood plasma to the Onco Lab in Boston for their AMAS test, to measures the anti-malignan (anticancer) antibody response of my body. The test results, 171, indicated
that my cancer was still active, but that my immune system was still producing anti-malignan antibodies to destroy
it. I was told that another
test in 30 days would determine the efficacy of my treatments. If the results dropped below 135, it would probably
mean that I was in remission.
I continued on 6 tsp. a day of Poly-MVA , MGN-3 and my other supplements, which included Coenzyme Q 10, Seacure,
selenium, probiotic, multiple vitamins and minerals, and a diet of mostly organic vegetables with some chicken
and fish. By the end of July,
after a month on Poly-MVA, there was no evidence of the tumor remaining, and I was feeling much improved.
Early in October, I received the results of another AMAS test. My antibody count had gone up slightly, (199), not down. I was told that this increase in a cancer marker often occurs
temporarily whenever there is a large cancer die-off, and that if that was the cause, I should see a sharp
drop in the marker soon.
I was very encouraged when the
results of my PET scan on November 1 showed that my entire body was free of cancer. On November 14, the results of my fourth AMAS test came back with a score of 55! I was a successfully treated cancer patient, for which I give praise
to the Lord Jesus!
On February 21, 2003, a new
AMAS test result showed a score of 40, indicating that I was still cancer free after three months. I plan to continue taking the AMAS test every four months. It’s taking
a while to get all my strength back, but I’m mostly there. I’m feeling great and feeling stronger all the time.
I never did regain all of my lost weight, but I think that’s because the diet I’ve been on is not conducive to
weight gain. I am very grateful for my new lease on life! |

THE CHRONOLOGY OF MY ALTERNATIVE
APPROACH TO THE TREATMENT OF ADENOCARCINOMA
BY HARRY L. QUICK
3-25-02
Noticed enlargement of two lymph nodes in the axillary region under left arm and was examined by Dr. Jordon, Surgeon.
4-5-02
Surgical removal of lymph nodes for evaluation.
4-6-02
Started immune enhancer MGN-3 orally at dosage of 43 mg per kg body weight along with regimen of minerals and vitamins.
4-8-02
Pathology report shows a metastatic adeno carcinoma with features
indicating primary source possibly in lung, GE tract, prostate, or breast area. Special stained biopsies being
performed and presently pending
identification.
4-16-02
Was seen by oncologist Dr. Walker who discussed the following:Mulitple tumor studies including CEA, PSA normal.
Normal protein electrophoresis chemistry profile and CBC. Imaging studies included normal MRI of brain, normal
CT scan of chest, abdomen, pelvic area and bone scan. The chest, abdomen and pelvis were negative. Also the EGD
and colonoscopy were normal. No symptoms except loss of weight in the past month plus weakness and loss of energy.
Dr. Walker recommended radiation treatment and send me to Dr. Hannus. I decided to use an alternative treatment
rather than compromise my immune system with radiation.Continued therapy with MGN-3 and mineral vitamin regime
and eliminated diet of most sugars and starchy foods and ate only certain meat proteins. Eliminated most dairy
products and started using organically grown foods, when available
5-6-02
Admitted to Immune Therapies Intl. by Dr. Jesse Stoff in Atlanta. Received mega doses (75,000 mg. daily) of Vitamin
C given I. V. for six days.
5-12-02
Moved to mountain home in North Carolina to continue medication. Continued MGN-3 and various vitamin-mineral products,
but discontinued IV Vitamin C until June 8th.
6-9-02
Continued Vitamin C at home intravenously at rate of 75,000 mg per day plus homeopathic solutions, viscum quercus,
aurum/prunus, hepar/stannum 1, renes/equisetum comp, and MGN-3 plus vitamins/minerals.
6-14-02 to 6-18-02
No IV’s of Vit C, but continued other products.
6-19-02 to 6-30-02
Continued Vit C at reduced dosage of 50,000 mg IV daily along with other vitamins, minerals and enzymes.
7-1-02
CT scan with radioactive markers revealed a reduction of axillary mass.
7-11-02
Started Poly MVA/MGN3 Study with ½ oz. PolyMVA 4 times daily and 43 mg. MGN3 daily.
7-17-02
Sent blood serum to Onco Lab in Boston for AMAS determination of anti malignin antibodies, measuring the amount
of the body’s antibody response to cancer. The result was 171, which is elevated on a scale of 0-700. It indicated
that the cancer is still active but that my anti malignin antibodies are working. Another test in 30 days will
determine the efficacy of my treatments. If the results go below 135 it will indicate complete remission of cancer.

Continued treatment as follows: PolyMVA 2T 3x daily, MGN-3 2gm daily, CoQ10 200mg daily, Seacure 1000 3x daily,
Selenium 200mcg daily, Probiotic 1 cap daily, B12 1000mcg Daily, 1 MultiVit/Min daily, 1 cap FiberSmart daily
During this protocol, my diet was mostly organic fruits and vegetables with some chicken, fish and occasional beef,
no sugars, white flour, cured meats, or caffeine. At this time my total weight loss was 20lbs.
7-30-02
No evidence of the axillary tumor remaining. Feeling improved.
8-20-02 to 10-02-02
Reduced PolyMVA to 1T 2x daily, MGN3 to 1 ½ gm daily, all else the same.
10-2-02
Received the results of second AMAS Test from Oncolab which was elevated to 199, an antimalignan count higher than
the first test. Noticed a sensitivity and swelling under left nipple. Treating with Progest Cream. Believe it to
be an inflammation only. I was told the spike in the number of antimalignans found in the blood occurs due to the
amount of cancer cells that have been destroyed. This is referred to as "die off". These dead cells are
dumped into the blood stream to be excreted from the body.
10-02-02 to 11-10-02
Reduced Poly MVA to 1 tsp daily and MGN-3 to 3 ½ gm daily plus 1500 mg coral calcium to regulate ph.
11-10-02
Drew blood sample and sent to ONCO Lab for AMAS test. Receive the test results back on 11-14-02. The score was
55 which indicates success-fully treated cancer with no evidence of disease. Thank you Jesus!
12-12-02
PET Scan of entire body. Results completely clear of cancer.
2-12-03
Fourth AMAS test result of 40, normal.
6-12-03
Fifth AMAS test result of 84, normal.
9-24-03
Sixth AMAS test result of 32, normal.
11-17-03

UPDATE: 2/22/07
Harry Quick DVM--Dr. Quick called and stated that he is doing very well and is taking 1 teaspoon of Poly-MVA for maintenance. Last year he
had not taken Poly-MVA faithfully on a maintenance level and had some swollen lymph nodes. He went back on Poly-MVA and the nodes went down and remain normal.
He is 84 years old. As his story has become known there are many individuals who contact him about Poly-MVA. |
