The Advanced Medicine and Research Center (AMARC) has had some surprising results using Poly-MVA (Which was originally
developed for brain cancer) for psoriasis as well as for lupus, which shares many characteristics of psoriasis.
Sufferers of both these diseases are often on several medications a day—some to deal with the pain, others with
the various unpleasant symptoms involved. But as we see, most of these medications have unwanted side-effects.
Psoriasis—thick, red patches of skin covered by large white or silvery scales that itch, burn, crack that sometimes
bleed or become infected—is a chronic skin disease that affects more than 7 million Americans. Psoriasis may be
due to over-activity of the T cell, a particular white blood cell. It may be an EFA defect and may be induced by
Beta-blockers given for heart problems. Psoriasis can be aggravated by stress, medication, injury, tends to be
worse when the air is dry or in the absence of frequent sunlight. Psoriasis is neither contagious nor preventable
and no safe cure has yet been found.
Some of the widely used prescription treatments, such as: Calcipotriene ointment, Anthralin, Tazarotene, PUVA (a
special form of light) plus psoralen, Methotrexate, Hydroxyurea, retinoids, Infliximab (Remicade), steroids and
antibiotics, can only provide temporary relief and may cause serious side effects. They vary from annoying: unpleasant
smells & uncomfortable stains, to downright alarming, i.e. raising blood calcium to dangerous levels, endanger
the kidneys and liver, cause, anemia, raise blood pressure, permanently thinning the skin, cause serious infections
and tuberculosis to the elderly and possibly lethal in the case of pregnancy.
Most of the testimonials received were provided by AMARC’s Investigational Center in Mexico City which has successfully
treated several patients of both these diseases. In one case, a patient’s psoriasis was so severe that it covered
his whole body with oozing sores. After sitting down, an imprint was left on his chair due to the liquid produced
by this illness. He claimed that when he bent his knees, it was like gas streaming from the hose at a gas pump!
This gentleman was actually a government official and the inconvenience and discomfort of his disease was beyond
belief! Yet, after only 6 weeks of taking Poly-MVA, using the same dosage as that for cancer patients, his psoriasis
had disappeared!
In the case of Poly-MVA used for lupus, the patient’s whole body was covered as if by a sheet of ice. She also
was cured and the Lupus Society of Mexico claimed this recovery to be one of the most remarkable in their case
history.
